その前に…
以前受験対策ピラミッドを紹介しました。
受験生のパフォーマンスは大枠このようになっており、
それぞれのフェーズにあった勉強の仕方が必要、というものです。
そして、これを日本史で当てはめるとこうなります。
まずはこの図を頭に入れることが大事です。
この図を思い浮かべながら、「自分は今どのフェーズにいるのか？」現在地を見失わないようにしましょう。
では、それぞれのフェーズについて見ていきましょう。
フェーズ１：教科書・通史
まずは通史（教科書範囲）を学び終えることが重要です。
参考書などで、分かりやすく学ぶというのでも良いのですが、
東大日本史を選択する場合、教科書以外はあまりオススメしません。
というのも、市販の参考書だと分かりやすさを重視するあまり、
東大日本史において重要な概念であったり、テーマを掴みづらくなるという傾向があります。
また、東大日本史は教科書をベースに出題する傾向が極めて強いので、
東大が求めている教科書を１周か２周ある程度理解できるまで読み込むのが良いと思います。
フェーズ２：日本史ガイドブック
教科書を読み込んだら、応用部分に取り掛かると良いでしょう。
とはいえ、東大の日本史は暗記系の問題とは大きく異なり、学術的な解釈やテーマの理解が深く求められます。
そのため、基礎と東大の過去問の間に相当する「応用問題集」がほとんどないのが現状です。
そこで、その教科書範囲の理解から東大日本史の橋渡しをしてくれるのが
詳説日本史ガイドブック（野島博之・山川出版社）
です。
この書籍は東大の日本史を長年担当されている野島先生が
基礎から東大へのステップアップとなる概念を詳しく解説してくれています。
この１冊に取り組んでから過去問を取り組むか取り組まないかで、
今後の日本史の成果がグッと変わってくると思います。
フェーズ３：過去問演習
最後は過去問演習です。
でもお伝えしている通り、
東大の日本史はかなり特殊な問題が出題されます。（下図）
特に（）がついている参考文を抽象化して、
どのように問いの答えとなる根拠を抽出できるか？
という視点を持って取り組むことが重要になります。
また、過去問演習に際して
野島先生のライブ講義も是非参加されると良いと思います。
